Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy

Where beauty meet science

The aging process, lifestyle, medical conditions, and other factors can cause a hormone imbalance. While this is a common issue faced by men and women, it’s not normal. You don’t have to live with a hormonal imbalance or let the accompanying symptoms negatively impact your life. At U | 180, we offer bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, also known as BHRT, a treatment designed to balance male and female hormones with Biote pellets to promote emotional, physical, and mental stability and health.

What Is Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy?

Bioidentical hormone replacement therapy is an anti-aging wellness treatment that can treat the symptoms of a hormonal imbalance at the source. We use bioidentical hormones to supplement the natural hormones the body lacks so that patients can experience an improved quality of life and all the benefits of complete hormonal balance.

What Are the Benefits of BHRT?

One of the benefits of BHRT is that it balances the hormones without the negative side effects that accompany synthetic hormone use. The hormones we use during treatment are bioidentical, meaning they are nearly identical to what the body creates naturally. By supplementing deficient hormones, we can resolve symptoms and promote an improved quality of life. Other treatment benefits include the following:

  • Customized treatment plans
  • Reduced negative symptoms
  • Improved quality of life
  • Protection from age-related diseases
  • Increased bone density
  • Better physical, mental, emotional, and sexual health
  • Increased vitality
  • Anti-aging benefits

What Are Biote Pellets?

Biote pellets are tiny hormone pellets smaller than a grain of rice, and they are inserted during pellet therapy. These pellets have helped thousands of men and women balance hormones and can promote optimal health and wellness.

Biote pellets use bioidentical hormones to treat symptoms and promote hormonal balance and have none of the negative symptoms associated with synthetic hormones because they’re nearly identical to the hormones the body produces naturally.

How They Work

Patients who qualify for bioidentical hormone replacement therapy receive two to four subcutaneous pellet insertions yearly. Never at any point will you need to self-administer hormones, give yourself injections, take a pill, or apply a cream, but instead, you can schedule treatments as needed, and we’ll take care of the rest.

Once inserted just below the skin surface, the pellet will begin delivering hormones to the bloodstream so that your body can use exactly what it needs, when it needs it. These pellets allow for consistent hormone delivery to prevent the roller coaster-like effects that often result when patients use alternative methods for hormone replacement therapy, like injections, creams, or pills.

What Are the Symptoms of a Hormone Imbalance?

Many different symptoms can affect those with a hormonal imbalance. Some of these symptoms are shared by men and women; others are specific to men and women. Frequently Asked Questions

Patients who begin a BHRT treatment plan will first undergo a consultation. At this consultation, we’ll discuss your symptoms and learn more about your medical history to confirm that Biote pellets are right for you. We’ll also perform a blood panel to get a better understanding of your hormone levels.

On the day of your treatment, we’ll cleanse your skin, typically an area with fatty tissue on the hip or buttocks, and then we’ll make a tiny incision, insert the pellet just below the surface of the skin, and secure it with the tiny incision. We’ll then place a bandage over the area, and you’ll be free to resume most of your normal daily activities.

There’s no downtime after a BHRT pellet insertion treatment, but you will need to be mindful of the insertion site and take steps to protect the area as the skin heals. You’ll need to temporarily avoid lower body workouts and submerging the area in water. We’ll provide you with complete post-treatment care instructions after your appointment is over.

We can design a bioidentical hormone replacement therapy plan for men and women with a hormone imbalance. Whether your hormones are severely imbalanced or you only have a mild or moderate imbalance, we can help restore a sense of normalcy to your life and promote your health and well-being. The treatment can help men and women of different ages and in all life stages recover from a hormone deficiency.

If you think you’re suffering from a hormone imbalance, regardless of your age or life stage, we can help restore balance and stability to your life while also promoting and protecting your health. An initial consultation is the first step in the treatment process so that we can design a customized BHRT treatment plan with Biote pellets to meet your needs and treat your exact deficiency.
